Ellis Henry Bex was born on Monday, December 26 at 11:15pm. We are both healthy and already very well adjusted to our new life. When the rest of the country returns to school on Tuesday, I will be happily snoozing away, dreaming of the days when my life didn’t revolve around breastfeeding. The good news for you is that a 2.5-3 hour feeding schedule doesn’t leave much room for excursions, so I won’t have much else to do but wash diapers and post lesson plans!
I pray blessings over your New Year, both in your professional and personal lives. May you find joy in each trial that you encounter (for there will always be trials, especially when teaching!), and experience Christ’s love for you in a new and personal way.
Beautiful baby! I do recommend that momma get some sleep in lieu of posting lesson plans:) That will keep you both happy even though some dark circles and chubby cheeks will appear soon anyway. Just a humble opinion from a mom of two.
Congratulations!!!!!!!!!! I am so happy for you 🙂 Enjoy your time with your new little one.

Congratulations!!!! I 100% agree with Natalia — take as many naps as you can… there’s nothing like it in the world… and it won’t last forever. Enjoy enjoy enjoy….
What a precious little sweetie! May you and your family enjoy your little heaven-sent gift.

I agree with Natalia. Sleep with the baby. It will help keep you from going insane.
Ditto! The two things I didn’t understand well enough when my kids were babies was the need to take the time to be with them and the honest desire of others to hold them. If we offer, it means we want to.
We can all teach for an entire year on your existing posts. They’re that good. And you will never have Ellis Henry this little again.
¡Felicidades, Martina! ¡Qué descanses y tengas muchos momentos especiales con Ellis Henry! 🙂
¡Felicidades! Es un tiempo precioso con un bebé nuevo. ¡Goza lo! Tú bebé tienen mucha suerte tener una mamá tan creativa e inteligente.
