Here are a few resources that I have created and used in the past to teach my students about Christmas celebrations in Spanish-speaking countries:
FREE Mexican Christmas traditions reading
Readings and activities for typical Christmas traditions…currently, just La Pastorela, El Día de los Inocentes and El Día de los Reyes Magos.
My Navidad board on Pinterest…featuring a HILARIOUS commercial pinned by Kristy @placido!
Christmas Wordoku Read more about how I’ve tried to legitimize Wordokus here.
Please link any resources that you love to use to teach about Christmas in Spanish-speaking countries in the comments section!!

What level do you use the cultural activities unit for? I am debating on what to use with my 1B and 1A classes.
They would definitely be good for 1B. 1A…depending on the class. And some of the activities are lower-level than others. I used the free reading with my 1As last year.
