Finally! I have been meaning for years to add a comprehensible Semana Santa reading to my holidays repertoire, and I am happy to announce that I’ve finally finished it! You can download the final product here. It contains a two-level embedded reading with pre and post-reading discussion questions and comprehension questions, a MovieTalk/video activity, an infograph activity, a project with writing component for which rubrics are provided, and a slideshow about Guatemala’s sawdust carpets. Hope you love it!

You should charge more for that Semana Santa lesson plan! $3 is too little for all the work youâve done. (I, too, sell on TPT!) It should at least be $5, in my opinion, it looks very worthwhile.

Thank you! I hope that teachers that purchase it will feel that it is a good value, too. I prefer to not charge more than I need to to keep my “hourly wage” (for hours spent creating the materials) just where I need it to justify staying home with my kids! If I were independently wealthy and could post everything for free, I would 🙂
Here’s also a cool tool you can spread the word about – one of our Spanish teachers who is from Chile shared this with me – it’s a Virtual Via Crucis that you can pray along with: http://www.iglesia.cl/especiales/semana_santa_2014/viacrucis.php
Gracias Martina…your work is outstanding and I appreciate that you share with us! I just purchased the Semana Santa unit and can’t wait to use it next week.
You are a blessing!
