Great news! Lincoln Public School District and the NE State Department of Education have agreed to open up next week’s workshop for up to 50 teachers from other states. Participants from outside the state of Nebraska will be able to attend for FREE but must bring their own lunch (lunch is provided for NE teachers). Additionally, I (Martina) am requesting that each out-of-state participant bring a donation for the class library of a language teacher in the Lincoln Public School District—any book in Chinese, French, German, Japanese, Spanish that a middle or high school student might be interested in and reasonably able to read. This is an incredibly generous offer by Lincoln Public Schools, since they are hosting the workshop and contributed half of the funding, and building their class libraries is a good way to say “thank you”!

I’m looking forward to the workshop!
I’m interested in attending, but unable to fill in the form fields. Does this mean it’s full?
The form seems to be working for me; I don’t believe that the workshop is full. If you continue to have trouble with registration, please contact janine.theiler at nebraska.gov
I was traveling so could not attend! I am really disappointed that you were in my area and I couldn’t come! Please come back to Nebraska again!
