Calling all North-easterners! I am offering a two-day workshop in upstate NY on July 24 and 25. Over the course of the two days, I will present a brief overview and demonstration of TPRS® along with a range of CI strategies and ideas for how to incorporate CI-centric lessons into your existing curriculum. This workshop is not ideal for teachers that are looking to hone their skills, since it is not a coaching workshop. The goal is to help attendees better understand the ‘why’, the ‘how’, and the ‘what’ of CI methodologies! You will leave with tons of ideas for lessons and activities and feel equipped to develop your own!
I would LOVE to see you there!
The workshop is just $50 and all proceeds are going toward Chittenango-Bridgeport Dollars for Scholars. I graduated from Chittenango High School and received a scholarship from Dollars for Scholars that helped me to pay for my Spanish degree/Adolescent Ed certification. I am really excited to be able to partner with this awesome organization for this workshop!
Please click here for details and registration information! Registration closes on July 1!!

Woop! Signed up and can’t wait!
woop woop!
I thought I would be out of town on the dates of this conference. I know realize that I will be in town. Is it possible to still sign up or be put on a waiting list.

I am so excited to be going to this workshop and meeting you in person! You have inspired me to be a better teacher throughout the past few years. Thanks for providing this opportunity!
I can’t wait to meet you either!!!!!
Feeling the same excitement here!
yippee yay yippee yay!
I wish I could go. Traveling from Louisiana would cost about $1500. Maybe you can VIDEO it, and post it?
Thanks for all you do!

It’s on my list of things to look into 🙂
I have been waiting so long for a workshop like this to come to NY, and to finally meet you!! Unfortunately, I will be leaving for Guatemala on July 25th! I hope you’ll do another workshop in NY in the near future! I wish you and your family all the best with your move! Welcome to the area!
Aw, nuts!
So jealous! Wish I could be there.
Martina,
There are several of us who are hoping and praying you consider doing this workshop someplace in the southeast this year. We wanted to go so badly, but it would just cost too much with the plane fare plus everything else.
Stephanie
I understand–coming from Alaska all trainings out of state are wicked expensive! It will be much easier to travel to great CI trainings that I am at least in the lower 48 🙂
Midwest (Milwaukee) would love to see you here. Do you ever offer an online webinar?
I don’t have plans to but perhaps when things settle I will 🙂
Hola Martina, What an opportunity- and what a price! I’m a long-time fan of your blog (where else could we find a reflection on CI, the sadness and stresses of home-moving and a wolf pack’s life-threatening pursuit of a musk ox, all wrapped into a single enlightening whole?) and am looking forward to meeting you in person on the 24th. I hope your travels are safe as you start a new chapter of your life in Vermont.
Wild animals creep their way into every aspect of my life these days. Such is life with young boys 😉 See you in July!!
Martina, any plans to video tape? Love to see your work, I can’t attend, I’m southwest. I’ve been a fan of you for quite some time. I’ve bought some past lesson plans and loved them!
I don’t have plans to but I will look into it.
I had excitedly booked a room and was ready to register until I realized I have another commitment to attend to. Will you be posting anything about the workshop for those unable to attend?
I am looking into taping it 🙂
