Y'all have been asking me if I am going to continue the weekly news summaries in the 2016-2017 school year, and I've been dodgy with my response. I don't think it's actually worth my time, as a stay at home mom, but if I were still in the classroom I would want to be making the time to use them in my own classes....so...I've made a decision. I'm going for it. There is so much richness in current events and the background knowledge required to understand them, that how could I not?
For those of you that have been asking so that you can write the subscription into your budget requests for next year, you will need to purchase two separate subscriptions to cover the entire school year. This is so that the fully populated subscriptions don't exceed Teachers Pay Teachers' maximum file size. As you write the subscriptions into your budget, remember that a single purchase gives ONE teacher permission to use the materials in his or her class. You must purchase additional licenses for each additional teacher in your building that wishes to use the product, and I have made them available at half price (5 teachers in a building = 1 full price license + 4 half price licenses). Licenses can be purchased at the time of the original purchase or they can be purchased later from "My Purchases" in your TpT account. If you are having trouble convincing your admins to approve budget requests from Teachers Pay Teachers, I suggest referring them to this page that TpT created to answer frequently asked questions and show them the value of TpT.
