Astronaut test (Spanish)

Do you have what it takes to be an astronaut?

This lesson is based on an authentic resource; an infographic that highlighted requirements for a Russia-sponsored program for citizens to become cosmonauts. It is already included in Somos 1 Unit 26.

In this lesson, students will fill out an Astronaut Application and then complete a series of tests to determine their eligibility to become an astronaut, based on the Russian program requirements. The tests examine diverse domains such as content knowledge, memory, creativity, physical stature, and more. Students will work through the test over the period of 3-4 class periods. At the end, tally their scores to find out who would make a great astronaut!
