Tuesday and Wednesday, many schools will be closed to support students in observing Rosh Hashanah, which begins Monday evening. If your school is not closed, your Jewish colleagues and students will likely be out of class.
As you work toward your goal of creating CONNECTIONS between your students and between them and the world, take some time in class to talk about why your school will be closed or why some friends and teachers might not be in class for a couple of days this week.
Grab a simple 13-slide presentation, in Spanish and French (and editable for other languages!), to walk your students through the what, the why, and the how of Rosh Hashanah. You can find it in the Holidays & Celebrations folder in the Comprehensible Classroom Subscriber Library.
From our family to yours, Shanah Tovah!
