  • Love these articles for February. I start each class period with partner read alouds and they love reading compelling non-fiction.

  • I used this resource as a bell ringer during black history month last year. This year I used them as part of stations. My students were able to understand the articles and had very good discussions.

  • Great addition to our non-fiction reading. I used this with my Spanish 3s this past year, and will use it with me 5th grade immersion class this year. Great articles!

  • I did use this as a supplemental reading to go with our Afro Latino Unit. Students were able to complete independently. Extremely comprehensible.
