My students really enjoyed doing this. I had students work with a partner if they had never attempted Sudoku type puzzles

This was a great activity to use before the holiday break. It was definitely challenging, so some students preferred to work together and my smarter students enjoyed doing it on their own. I gave out lollipops for anyone who completed it within the period--not an easy feat!

My students love Wordokus! They were skeptical at first but enjoyed the activity once they started and asked for more. Sometimes I have trouble getting them to do homework, but not when it is a Wordoku. I love the way the worksheets are formatted as well because it gives students repeated exposure to the vocabulary.
