I just started this unit today and so far the students were very engaging. I am using it with my Spanish 1 group and they are loving it. I will adapt a bit for Spanish 2 so it is more challenging.

Very easy to follow. You can pick and choose activities as you see fit to use with your classes. I loved it because there are a variety of activities.

It's so nice to have a truly new unit! This makes it easier to introduce useful structures earlier, and with the right class we can have a bit of silliness acting out the vocabulary for motion used.

I started off the year with this unit and I was drawn to it so I could use it as a review and for its cultural component. Keep the culture coming! While this particular story and song were moderately received in class, I was able to modify the lesson. I can tell this was written with a lot of thought and attention to detail.
Hola Mono -
This is a really great small unit. I agree that the students should have some direct exposure to these target structures earlier in the Somos curriculum and this unit does a good job of teaching and reinforcing these structures while also teaching about culture.
