Here are the preterite tense notes that I give my students. We do NOT fill them at the same time, nor do we complete any section until students have already been exposed to verbs in that category. For example, today we completed the "Category 4" section for ser and ir because "fue" was our target structure yesterday and today, and the other forms of the verb have come up. The notes are meant to be a way for students to organize information that they've already learned, not to present them with new information.
