I wrote this plan after reading Cynthia Hitz's blog post about the lesson she used to teach this video. She has a wonderful talent for finding fascinating videos, and she develops great resources to use with them. I modified her lesson to fit my Spanish B curriculum. When I return to the classroom on Monday (sigh), I am going to focus on activities that review the high frequency structures from first semester in all of my classes, since they more or less worked on other things while I was on maternity leave last quarter. I was so excited when I realized that the description of the action in the video includes TONS of HFTs from Spanish B's first semester! This is the perfect way to start off our final quarter.
