The handouts from my presentations at COFLT/WAFLT this past weekend in Portland are available in this Google Drive folder. Although the slideshows are abridged, all of the slides with key information are still there. I’d really appreciate feedback on my presentations–what was helpful, what was not helpful, what was confusing, what stood out, etc.–so that I can be more effective in the future!
I learned much from the other presenters at the conference and enjoyed speaking with so many of you about the effective and impactful things that you are are doing in your classes!
I’d write more, but frankly, I’m exhausted. Also, there is a pile of laundry the size of Uruguay on my bed waiting to be folded, so if I want to take a nap, I need to deal with that first. Sigh.
Happy teaching!

Thank you for reminding me about the powerful impact we could potentially have on our students…not just in terms of language acquisition, but our potential to infuse a healthy dose of empathy into all our students….what if!
Thanks! Martina Bex is my favorite!

Thank you for sharing! You are my go-to person when I need a good idea!! I teach French and am also wondering if/when the rest of your “Somos” curriculum will be translated – I have really liked using the first couple units that I found on TPT. Thank you again, you are AWESOME!
Oh….it will probably be a long time….most of it is translated, it just needs to be formatted and compiled. I wish I had more time!!
