Donna Tatum-Johns
Professional Learning Specialist

Donna is a dedicated and accomplished educator with 36 years of classroom experience. For over twenty years, she has shared her expertise with fellow educators through workshops and presentations at local, regional, and national conferences. Donna’s dedication to education and her unwavering commitment to innovative teaching have made her a respected and influential figure in the field of language instruction. Upon her retirement from the classroom in 2024, Donna was honored to receive the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Kentucky World Language Association (KWLA).

Custom resources, for members only!

The Comprehensible Classroom's French curriculum team is hard at work to provide Au salon members with custom-made resources every month:

Teaching resource: A lesson plan or teaching tool for classroom use.

Instructional video: A pre-recorded walkthrough explaining how to use the teaching resources mentioned above, including strategies and techniques for effective implementation.

Printable ready-to-use student resource: (e.g., sub plans, an article, a story, a template, etc.). This resource doesn’t require an instructional video.

Office Hours: A one-hour live Zoom session per month with Donna. Members submit questions in advance or can ask them during the live session.
