La Dictée géante | A French Cultural Lesson

Is there anything more French than a dictation?

Teach your students about this classic activity by sharing with the story of a giant dictation that was conducted on the Champs-Elysées in June 2023! Students will first learn about dictation through a series of short articles, and they will have the opportunity to try one with a whimsical story. Next, students will read an article about the giant dictation and play reading-based games to process it!

These activities will fill 90-120 minutes of class. Ideas for extensions are included!
