Sobremesa Episode 3

Sobremesa is a talk show for Spanish learners. The third episode is hosted by Spanish teacher Paulino Brener!

CONSIDERATIONS:
Sobremesa 3 features authentic cultural content filmed with real people and settings in and related to Argentina. Please note that in one segment, the male host (Paulino) playfully portrays a female character, inspired by the tradition of comedic “auntie” figures in Argentine culture. In another segment, a pride flag is visible in the background of an interview filmed in Candela’s apartment, and Candela greets the audience using the gender-neutral term «chiques». These elements reflect authentic perspectives and lived experiences; however, we recognize that some schools may have policies restricting the use of content with these representations. We encourage teachers to preview the materials to ensure they align with their local context.
