Creative writing project for Spanish classes to use the imperfect tense

This is a project for students to demonstrate their mastery of the imperfect tense. Students design and describe a mythical, extinct creature based on the criteria outlined in the project guidelines. A suggested grading rubric (for standards-based grading) is included, but it is editable so that you can change the requirements to meet your class's structure. The instructions are primarily in English, so it could be easily re-formatted to use in other language classrooms.
