If you are a World Language Educator in Nebraska, register now for the June 6-7 training at  Schoo Middle School in Lincoln, Nebraska. It is FREE for Nebraska teachers, and you must register by Thursday, May 26 at 4:00pm.  Janine Theiler in the NE Department of Education is the point of contact for the workshop. Over the two days, I will present a series of strategies that can be used to provide comprehensible input to your students. It is important that participants attend BOTH days of the workshop in order to leave with a complete understanding of why comprehensible input matters, what activities can be used to provide it to your students, and how you can make your specific content more comprehensible.

What: 2 day Workshop with Martina Bex sponsored by a partnership between NDE and LPS
When: Monday, June 6 (9am-4pm) and Tuesday, June 7 (9am-3pm)

Click here to register for the workshop today!

If you are interested in attending but do not teach in Nebraska, you may be able to register if space is available after registration closes. If you are interesting in hiring me to do a workshop in your area, please be aware that I will not be accepting any new invitations to present in 2016. That being said, I can certainly connect you with a great trainer for whatever content you are hoping to explore. Contact me with your location and the desired content of the training, and I’ll send along some recommendations!

  1. Hi Martina,
I see that today is the last day to register for the workshop. I am not from Nebraska (I am from Wisconsin and willing to drive to NE for this grand opportunity) but I am hopeful that there will be spots left after registration is closed today. If there are spots left, how can I register to attend this workshop? Thanks, Irene

  2. I registered after the deadline last night in hopes that this Kansas teacher can get in! 🙂
