This bundle includes everything that you need to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month in a meaningful way with your students and your entire school!
Here is how I use the resources:
STEP 1: Get the word out to the whole school about El mes de la herencia (AND our school’s awesome Spanish program!) with school-wide BINGO using the 20 biographies.
STEP 2: At the beginning of the month, give my students some background info on El mes de la hispanidad with the overview and history readings
STEP 3: On or just after Mexican Independence Day (depending when it falls), tackle the El Grito de Dolores mini unit.
STEP 4: Make sure that my students realize that there are more Spanish speaking countries than just Mexico and Puerto Rico using the two coloring pages.
STEP 5: In week 2 or 3 of the month, learn El Juramento a la bandera in Spanish.

I made this a schoolwide activity during Hispanic Heritage Month. Everyone loved seeing the easy to understand biographies all around the school! It created a fun and focused activity for the entire school.

Awesome bundle! We did a successful super fun all school bingo scavenger hunt! We were able to get a local restaurant to donate some gift cards for the prizes. I didn't think they'd want to do it again two years in a row, but they were requesting that we do it again! Great bunch of resources to choose from. Thank you!

I used this resource to create a Hispanic "hallway" of fame. I printed and displayed the cards and the students were given bingo cards to fill out with the name of the person as they walked down the hallway and looked through the cards.

This is a great resource! I love using it with Level 1's -- they cannot believe they can read and answer the questions so well after having been in class only 3 weeks! Thank you!

Lots of great information in this bundle. I love that there are digital activities included as well. I also really appreciate the different activities that this bundle offers-not just all readings or all games, but a multitude of different options! Well done!
