It is so hard to find a curriculum for upper level students that not only gives them scaffolding to help build their productive language skills but also, wraps those lessons in topics that really interest them. Created with inspiration from the AP themes, the Sustainable Development Goals, and ACTFL's Proficiency Levels, this curriculum may be just what you need to maximize the time you spend with your students and minimize your planning.
The 15 unit Full Curriculum bundle of the Huellas 1 curriculum allows teachers a great deal of flexibility with timing, grammatical focus, extending vocabulary, and includes both remote and face to face plans. In these units, teachers will find vocabulary, grammar, music, movie talks, and cultural studies, we hope that our lessons meet the needs of your upper level students!

Love the materials. In the first unit, it would have been nice to have seen Hispanic artists featured in the primary readings of the unit, but overall very happy with the resources.

I tried Huellas out for the first time this year, and had SO MUCH FUN with my students! It was perfect for my Spanish 3 and 4 students. They especially loved the songs that come with many of the units. I cannot wait to keep exploring more!

Great activities and a slightly repetitive style for each unit which gives students enough familiarity to feel stable with the curriculum while also being varied enough to keep them interested.

I'm new to Huellas this year and I am 1000% happy with this curriculum thus far. Since I find myself enjoying the materials, it leads to even more engagement with the students. Also, my admin LOVE the cross category learning (learning about famous artists, etc). The lessons are laid out extremely well and I feel empowered to walk with my students as they learn, even though this curriculum is new to me as well. My students are new to CI learning and this curriculum is engaging and fun for them. I can't wait to get to the recipe unit and use our FACS kitchen to make things!
