I have used this resource with every new class I teach because it is the best I have found. The fill-in-the blank handout covers all the basics for telling time on one page and is a useful reference tool. The story about Paul is perfect for my novice learners and keeps their interest. They always gasp or moan at the end! The sequencing activity helps with comprehension and includes plenty of telling-time practice.

I LOVE this resource! For some reason, I DREAD teaching telling time, and this resource turned the dread right around! The guided notes are perfectly clear and straightforward to set the stage. My students really loved the adorable story. They thought it was hysterical and even loved the unhappy ending! Thanks so much for this great resource!

Time is always a challenging thing to teach in level 1. This is a great resource. I made an edpuzzle that went along with the notes, which also helped students.
