I used this as a starting off point for my 7th graders to research Christmas in Spanish-speaking countries. They liked it and it was a good activity for before break.

I used this product this past school year. I gave my students choices on different countries and how they celebrate Christmas and then did a Gallery Walk. It was great seeing my students learn from others.
Misty Jarman -
My students enjoyed doing this lesson together as a class. They learned a lot on how Mexico's Christmas traditions are different yet very similar. Thank you for the lesson!

This text gives a great overview of the different Christmas celebrations that happen in Mexico. It's a great resource if you don't have a lot of time to talk about holidays in class.

I had this for the entire class before Christmas. Next year, I think that I will use these with Advanced students or fast-finishers from the regular class.
